What is Cromon Quest?

Cromon Quest is a browser-based Web3 creature-collection RPG built on the Cronos blockchain. As a Keeper (the game's word for a player), you collect unique creatures called Cromons across 120 species, 10 elemental types and five rarities. You forge stronger ones at the Fusion Forge, compete in the Arena, raid the World Boss, explore the Shadow Run maze and mine The Deeps. Every Cromon you mint is an ERC-721 token in your wallet: keep it, trade it, or send it to battle, never locked inside the game. It plays directly in your browser with no download, and starting is free: connecting a wallet grants three starter Cromons.

What kind of game is it?

A creature-collection RPG in the classic sense: you build a roster, learn a 10-type elemental chart, and pit teams against rival teams and events. The twist is where the collection lives: on Cronos, in your wallet, as tokens you own. The game stays a game first; the blockchain's main job is making your collection truly yours.

Sessions fit real life. Battles resolve in minutes, Expeditions run fully while you are away, The Deeps keeps digging at half speed between visits, and the daily Shadow Run maze gives you one tense run a day.

What are Cromons?

Elemental creatures risen from the Crystal Void, the game's world. There are 120 species across 10 types, from the ember-grinned Kindlekin to the crystal fox Cromy, each with its own stats, rarity and lore. Every one you mint is an ERC-721 token on Cronos.

What do you actually do?

Fight, mostly, and grow. The Arena is 3v3 PvP with a persistent rating and a live leaderboard. The World Boss unites the whole server against one colossal HP pool. Between fights you send teams on missions, dig ore into permanent stat boosts, and merge duplicates at the Fusion Forge into stronger fighters.

Do you really own what you collect?

Yes. Ownership is the whole reason the game is on-chain. Minted Cromons land in your wallet as ERC-721 tokens, tradable on the in-game marketplace, and they stay yours if you stop playing. The three free starters are in-game creatures rather than NFTs, so everything tradable is something you chose to mint. Even fusion, which burns three Cromons to mint a stronger one, happens as a wallet transaction you sign yourself.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing to begin: connecting a wallet grants three starter Cromons and access to every mode. Growing a competitive roster runs through minting Rifts priced in CRO. Every price and every rarity percentage is published on the mint page and enforced on-chain.

How many modes are there, and what is the daily loop?

14 modes and systems have their own page: Arena, World Boss, Shadow Run, Weekly Shadow Run, Expeditions, The Deeps, The Pit, Fusion Forge, Camp, Dojo, Weekly Mine, Council, Marketplace and Minting. They share one progression. Every action that awards XP feeds the same Keeper level, capped at 1,500 XP a day, and that level unlocks better expedition offers and the rank titles from Rookie to Chainmaster. Three daily quests roll every morning, and the two in-game currencies, Shards and CroCoin, are earned in every mode and spent in the Camp, the Dojo and the shop. Aether is the shared energy: one point per Arena attack, refilling on its own, with separate pools for raids, the Pit and the maze. CRO, the Cronos token, only ever comes in for the on-chain acts: minting, fusing, trading and the optional CroCoin packs.

How is the game run and updated?

In the open. Every release is written up on the public changelog, and the Council lets Keepers vote on what gets built next, one vote per Cromon owned, with a 70% bar for a proposal to pass. The mint odds, the fusion rules and the marketplace terms are enforced by the smart contract rather than by the server, so they cannot be changed quietly. Growth is by invitation as much as by advertising: the referral program rewards both the recruit and the Keeper who invited them once the recruit has minted three Cromons from paid Rifts.
