“Big mask energy, tiny cat body.”
Masklurk waddles through dim corridors wearing a crimson mask twice the size of its own body. Those bright cyan eyes behind the golden swirls follow you everywhere, but it's mostly just hoping for snacks. Its wispy tail curls into spirals when startled, which happens at least twelve times a day.
Every hatch rolls its own within its Rift tier: Basic Rift 3-24, Premium Rift 13-28, Ultra Rift 20-30. Here's the range in motion.
Sum of all six AVs ÷ 180, so a hatched Masklurk lands between 10% and 100%. The top of that band is the collector's grail.

One type chart, every game mode: the same multipliers decide an Arena fight, a World Boss raid and a maze encounter. The full type chart lists all ten.
Higher tiers roll rarer species, and far higher stats when a common lands there. Prices are fixed in CRO on the minting page ; three copies of Masklurk plus a 10 CRO fee feed the Fusion Forge.
Every hatch rolls six aptitude values (3–30, inside its Rift tier band). Their sum out of 180 sets its perfection %: high rolls are the chase. As a common species, Masklurk also holds up to 2 techniques at once.
In The Deeps, Weekly Mine is the shadow mine: 0% of its typed lanes roll shadow, and a shadow miner on one of them digs faster.
The line is lineage, not a recipe: Hexavael is hatched from a Rift, never forged from Masklurk. Three Masklurk of the same rarity go into the Fusion Forge and come out as one Masklurk with stronger stats, for a 10 CRO fee. Cromons are forged, never evolved: the fuel Cromons are burned and the survivor keeps its species, its rarity and its Cromite boosts.
36 Masklurk have been hatched out of 3,679 revealed Cromons. Supply is not capped per species: what makes a common scarce is the Rift odds above. Every one of them lives in its owner's wallet and can be traded on the open market.
Masklurk is a common species: mint a Rift egg with CRO on Cronos: Basic Rift (45% common odds), Premium Rift (30% common odds), Ultra Rift (15% common odds): or buy one on the in-game marketplace. Rift prices are fixed in CRO: Basic Rift 20 CRO, Premium Rift 50 CRO, Ultra Rift 150 CRO. Every new player also starts with 3 free starter Cromons.
Masklurk is a shadow-type: it deals 1.5x damage to wind and crystal Cromons, but only 0.75x against light and fight. The same type chart applies in the Arena, expeditions, the Shadow Run and World Boss raids.
Every hatched Masklurk rolls six aptitude values: HP, ATK, DEF, SPD, CRIT and RESOLVE. The Rift tier sets the range, so an AV lands between 3 and 30: Basic rolls 3-24, Premium rolls 13-28, Ultra rolls 20-30. Their sum out of 180 is its perfection percentage, which puts a hatched Masklurk between 10% and 100%.
Masklurk is a common species: 45% of Basic Rift hatches land in the common pool. The artwork is shared, but every NFT rolls its own stats, so high-perfection Masklurk are the true chase.
Masklurk opens the line: #038 Masklurk then #039 Hexavael. The line is lineage, not a recipe: Hexavael is hatched from a Rift, never forged from Masklurk.
36 have been hatched on Cronos so far, 1.0% of the 3679 revealed Cromons, which ranks Masklurk number 89 by scarcity out of the 120 species minted so far. Supply is not capped per species: it is the Rift odds that make a common species scarce.
As a common Cromon, Masklurk holds up to 2 techniques at once: that memory limit is a rarity perk, from 2 slots on a common species to 5 on a legendary one. Techniques are taught at the Dojo by opening a capsule (Basic, Premium, Ultra), then trained over time to raise their rank. A Cromon is busy in every other mode while it trains.
