Aerbyte
Wind Common N°013 · STAGE 1/2

Aerbyte

“Turbines loud, attention span short.”

Aerbyte zips between rooftops on rattling turbine wings, leaving a trail of static that makes fur stand on end. Its pink visor flickers when it picks up new wind patterns, recording every gust like field notes. Keepers learn quickly: if the turbines stop humming, it fell asleep mid-flight again.

Hatch profile

Common Stage 1/2

Every hatch rolls six aptitude values (3–30, inside its Rift tier band). Their sum out of 180 sets its perfection %: high rolls are the chase. As a common species, Aerbyte also holds up to 2 techniques at once.

In The Deeps, Zephyr Shafts is the wind mine: 55% of its typed lanes roll wind, and a wind miner on one of them digs faster.

Species line: stage 1 of 2

  1. #013 Aerbyte
  2. #014 Galehawk

The line is lineage, not a recipe: Galehawk is hatched from a Rift, never forged from Aerbyte. Three Aerbyte of the same rarity go into the Fusion Forge and come out as one Aerbyte with stronger stats, for a 10 CRO fee. Cromons are forged, never evolved: the fuel Cromons are burned and the survivor keeps its species, its rarity and its Cromite boosts.

Aerbyte: player questions

How do I get Aerbyte in Cromon Quest?

Aerbyte is a common species: mint a Rift egg with CRO on Cronos: Basic Rift (45% common odds), Premium Rift (30% common odds), Ultra Rift (15% common odds): or buy one on the in-game marketplace. Rift prices are fixed in CRO: Basic Rift 20 CRO, Premium Rift 50 CRO, Ultra Rift 150 CRO. Every new player also starts with 3 free starter Cromons.

What is Aerbyte strong against?

Aerbyte is a wind-type: it deals 1.5x damage to grass and fight Cromons, but only 0.75x against shadow and rock. The same type chart applies in the Arena, expeditions, the Shadow Run and World Boss raids.

What are Aerbyte's stats?

Every hatched Aerbyte rolls six aptitude values: HP, ATK, DEF, SPD, CRIT and RESOLVE. The Rift tier sets the range, so an AV lands between 3 and 30: Basic rolls 3-24, Premium rolls 13-28, Ultra rolls 20-30. Their sum out of 180 is its perfection percentage, which puts a hatched Aerbyte between 10% and 100%.

How rare is Aerbyte?

Aerbyte is a common species: 45% of Basic Rift hatches land in the common pool. The artwork is shared, but every NFT rolls its own stats, so high-perfection Aerbyte are the true chase.

Can I fuse Aerbyte at the Fusion Forge?

Aerbyte opens the line: #013 Aerbyte then #014 Galehawk. The line is lineage, not a recipe: Galehawk is hatched from a Rift, never forged from Aerbyte.

How many Aerbyte exist?

33 have been hatched on Cronos so far, 0.9% of the 3679 revealed Cromons, which ranks Aerbyte number 73 by scarcity out of the 120 species minted so far. Supply is not capped per species: it is the Rift odds that make a common species scarce.

How many techniques can Aerbyte learn?

As a common Cromon, Aerbyte holds up to 2 techniques at once: that memory limit is a rarity perk, from 2 slots on a common species to 5 on a legendary one. Techniques are taught at the Dojo by opening a capsule (Basic, Premium, Ultra), then trained over time to raise their rank. A Cromon is busy in every other mode while it trains.
